Extravagance reached another tangent with a golden throne- yes, a $100,000 golden toilet made with Louis Vuitton bags. The brown and gold toilet covered in the trademark Louis Vuitton monogram has been created by artist Illma Gore. The artist worked for three months and used 24 different bags, valued at $15,000, in addition to a $3,000 suitcase to make the fully functioning potty.
The toilet has been featured on a resale site for sale and the images of the toilet have also been shared by Illma herself on her Instagram handle. She captioned the image as, “ wondered what 15k of authentic @louisvuitton bags looked like as a fully functional toilet, so I made this.”
According to the description on the site, Illma “used 24 bags worth $15,000, including a $3,000 suitcase to create the 'Loo-uis Vuitton Toilet'. It took three months to complete.”
However, the ‘precious’ toilet has left many wondering who would actually dare use it.
