Dramatic visuals from Imphal show a citizen taking on Union Minister KJ Alphons at Imphal Airport. The woman, identified as a lady doctor was scheduled to go to Patna to attend to what one can infer to be a funeral. However, her flight was allegedly delayed for the minister.

In the video, the angry passenger is seeing shouting at the Union Minister and blaming him for flights being delayed as an outcome of VVIP's arrival schedule.

During the course of the video, the woman says,

"I had to go to Patna at 2:45 which was the scheduled time and that is what I told my family. The body is waiting. I am a doctor and I know that the body will degrade. It is still at my home"

On speaking to Republic TV's  Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami, MoS Tourism KJ Alphons said,

"flights were not taking off because the honourable President was landing"

He added, "as a minister, I spent a good 10-minutes with her explaining why her flight was not taking off" and also went on to add that the VVIP protocol has been happening for 70 years.
