About 75 days after being arrested for the murder of Pradyuman Thakur in Gurugram's Ryan International School, bus conductor Ashok has finally been released.

Republic TV has accessed the first visuals of Ashok since he was released from jail. He had been granted bail a day earlier.

Ashok was arrested in the immediate aftermath of seven-year-old Pradyuman Thakur's murder on September 8, 2017. After his having spent two months in jail, the CBI, which had taken over the case from the Haryana Police on Pradyuman's parents insistance, took a Class 11 student of the same school into custody as a suspect.

Ashok's parents have alleged that he was tortured in order to get a confession out of him.
