Maan Ki Baat Meets Chai Pe Charcha

Hack:

  • The next transmission of the Maan ki Baat will be aired in all Gujarat booths with a special tea service
  • The move comes days after Congress youth wing used a crass meme to mock the PM
  • Prime Minister Modi had started his career as a ground worker for the BJP - RSS

Days after Youth Congress leader tried mocking Prime Minister Modi by making an unbecoming and classist remark by calling him a "chai wala",  BJP Gujarat state unit will now be using the remark to its advantage.

The next transmission of the Maan ki Baat will be aired in all Gujarat booths with a special tea service, turning it into an exclusive, 'Maan ki baat meets chai pe charcha'

The move comes days after Congress youth wing used a crass meme to mock the PM and instead of issuing an apology for the same, no action has been taken against the youth leader.

The meme drew sharp reactions from the BJP, and the leaders were quick to point out that the language used in the meme showed the elitist and classist mindset of the Congress which does not really think about the welfare of the poor.

Others remarked that at a time when the Congress has decided to coronate Rahul Gandhi as the next Congress President in December, they could not understand the democratic stand within BJP where even a ground worker can rise through its rank on the dint of sheer hard work and grit.

Prime Minister Modi had started his career as a ground worker for the BJP - RSS and went on to not just become the Chief Minister of Gujarat twice but got elected as the Prime Minster of India as well.
