8 Places To Visit If You're A Die-Hard Shah Rukh Khan Fan

Shah Rukh Khan movies are always full of whimsical places that we wish were real. Well, you can stop your wishing, because a lot of your favorite Shah Rukh Khan movie locations really are real!

Time to pack your bags because I'm about to tell you where your favorite SRK movie location actually exists in the world.

1. Swades - Dhom Dam, Wai, Maharashtra.

The boat ride in the movie Swades was shot at Dhom Dam, which is an earthfill and gravity dam on Krishna river near Wai in the state of Maharashtra in India. 

2. Chalte Chalte - Mykonos Island, Greece.

This 2003 romantic Bollywood movie starring Shah Rukh Khan and Rani was extensively shot in Greece and the famous romantic number, 'tauba tumhare yeh ishare,' was shot in multiple locations out of which Mykonos Island was also a part. 


3. Jab Tak Hai Jaan - Ladakh, India.

Apart from London, the Yash Raj blockbuster was shot in Ladakh and parts of Gulmarg and Pahalgam. 

4. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai - Scotland, UK.

Don't you love the cinematography of this song? It was shot at Tantallon Castle, Eilean Donan Castle and Blackrock Cottage Highlands in Scotland, UK. The following picture is of Tantallon Castle. 

5. Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham - Great Pyramid of Giza.

6. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Switzerland.

Yes! Almost everyone knows the shooting location of DDLJ but in a list of SRK movies, it's impossible to not include DDLJ. The movie was shot in Gstaad,  Saanen, and Zweisimmen.  


7. Veer Zara - Wagah Border.

Yash Chopra's epic romance story's last scene was shot at the Wagah border crossing when SRK finally returns to India.

8. Don - The Chase Begins, Langkawi Sky Bridge.

The power packed action climax of Don was shot at the Langkawi sky bridge.

There are a few things we Indians whole heartedly agree upon, and our national fondness for Shah Rukh Khan is one of them. From the bylanes of Rajinder Nagar in Delhi to the palatial Mannat at Mumbai, Shah Rukh Khan sure has come a long way.
